SHANDOAH ROSE GOLDMAN

As a creative wellness designer and facilitator, I create immersive experiences igniting wonder. At the core of my work, there is a space for women to re-store their nervous systems and to gather as a group with fun and awe.

My early movement studies in Contemporary Dance, led me to a desire of understanding the body. The entry way for this was through Shiatsu, looking at the body as a whole. Connected through river pathways of energy, and interconnected with the environment and seasons. After decades of diving into this Japanese system of healing, I wanted to know more about the mind. My curiosity about the subconscious mind, led me to study Hypnosis. This journey led me to connect methods of integrating the body + mind, both a part of the story.

My parents were Macrobiotic, which was foundational in my understanding of health. My father is still an Acupuncturist, inspiring my twenty years of Shiatsu practice. My mother's background as an Actress guided my interest in the performing arts. After college I started a Macrobiotic catering company called ZenSational Appetite. My absolute love of healthy food lives on today and you will find finely curated treats at all my events.

Honored that my work has taken me to Japan, the United Kingdom, France, and Canada. I am based in Charlottesville VA and love to guide retreats near and far!
