PRENATAL RETREAT

July 18th 10am-2pm 2026

Join Shandoah Goldman and Katie Boyts in a warm, nurturing space carefully created to honor, restore, and celebrate your prenatal journey. This half-day retreat brings together a supportive community and intentionally carves out time for connection, rest, and renewal through a thoughtful blend of practices gently designed to support both your body and your growing baby. You can expect slow, grounding prenatal yoga, nourishing seasonal food, and a restorative salt‑water swim, all held with attentive, compassionate care while you make meaningful connections alongside others who are sharing a similar experience. This retreat is thoughtfully designed for all stages of pregnancy and for the wide range of feelings that come along with it. Please join us even if you aren’t feeling ‘the glow’—we are here and ready to hold your experience with warmth and respect.

Tea + Yoga session led by Shandoah Goldman. Nourishing lunch prepared by Katie Boyts in addition to being hosted at her beautiful home on five acres with chickens, creek, gardens & rural salt water pool.

This retreat is curated for an intimate group, space is limited, reserve your spot soon!

Shandoah’s prenatal class gave me a chance to relax, breathe, and connect with my body at a time when I needed it most. I really enjoyed the pacing and flow. She also created a supportive community of expecting moms who stayed connected for a long time!

She trained at the Ohashiatsu Institute (1997–2002), Center for Integrative Hypnosis (2013), Bend & Bloom Restorative Yoga (2013), and Awakened Spirit Prenatal Yoga (2024). A dancer/choreographer, bodyworker, and yoga practitioner, she combines movement and somatic work to teach Shiatsu for Babies, prenatal and restorative yoga. Katie Boyts

trained at the celebrated Robert Reynolds Chef Studio in Portland, Oregon in 2011 where she learned rustic French cooking and the beauty of bringing people together over food. She worked as a baker in Charleston, South Carolina and Baltimore, Maryland. Fast forward to 2024, Katie opened Rocky Hollow Bakery from her home in Charlottesville which her two school-aged children weren't too mad it! Her home has also served as a landing place for day retreats in her primary work as yoga teacher and retreat facilitator, and she's passionate about making it a place of warmth, care and rest. Katie graduated from the Australian Yoga Academy in 2019, earning an Advanced Diploma and a certificate in Trauma-Informed and Community Yoga. In all these professional avenues - food, yoga, retreats - she finds a sweet marriage of embodied connection, community care, and pleasure.

I am still struck by how rested I feel! the group of women was so amazing and everything was so thoughtful and intentional and beautiful and I’m so grateful to have been a part of it.
